Nancy Roberts
Nancy joins Team Oregon from her home-town of Warrenton in Clatsop County. She has been a part of Special Olympics for many years in Oregon and Washington, participating in basketball, soccer, swimming and athletics in addition to bowling, her main sport. When Nancy is not doing sports, she enjoys being with her friends, reading and re-writing books. She is really looking forward to meeting new people at USA Games.
Nancy is keeping active by volunteering with her local food bank and at her church. She is also exercising and eating healthy as she prepares for her bowling competition in Orlando.
Nancy was very excited to recently get to meet folks at the Coast Guard and enjoyed being a guest at the very first Special Olympics Oregon Coastal Polar Plunge. Meeting many people and taking lots of pictures with her magnetic smile was so much fun.
We are excited to cheer on Nancy as she bowls her heart out for Team Oregon!
