Polar Plunge Volunteer
Polar Plunge is a fun-filled event that challenges individuals and teams to dress in crazy costumes and plunge into the ice cold waters - in order to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Oregon! A 5K fun run is also included at most locations!
Date & Location: Plunges will be held in 7 different locations around the state in the month of February and on January 29.
Volunteers will have fun interacting with our plungers and runners, helping with registration, greeting and cheering for runners and plungers and assisting with logistics! We will have key volunteers on-site to give you training and support! We will all work together to make it a great experience!
Volunteers should be 12 years and above to participate. All events follow the safety guidelines required by the state of Oregon. Masks must be worn and social distancing is required to the extent possible. You'll receive more information about safety guidelines prior to the event.
