Introducing our Aquatics Head Coach for 2022 USA Games – Kathy Hinz
Kathy Hinz has been an active part of Special Olympics Oregon local program management and coaching staff in Benton County. She has coached aquatics, softball, golf, and basketball. This is her first USA Games and she is excited for all parts!
Kathy looks forward to making the rounds in Oregon and training with swimming athletes! Her family, too, will be with her and she’ll meet other families. But the thing she looks forward to most is the swim meet – events she loves.
Kathy has other passions – she raises puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind. She volunteers with her local 4H program, enjoys her DIY projects, and even raises chickens!
Kathy is ready and excited to cheer for her own athlete as they compete after working so hard!
