Special Olympics Oregon is proud to make our sports and programs available to thousands of athletes and their families at no cost. One of the primary ways we offset the expenses associated with programming and services is through engaging the community in fundraising events.
The mission never stops at Special Olympics Oregon. All across the state our athletes compete year-round, we host a multitude of fundraising events and we continuously look for ways to engage our community to promote diversity and inclusion.
Special Olympics Oregon is committed to keeping our athletes active, healthy, and engaged during this time that we are unable to offer sports training. SOOR Active an athlete-driven At Home Fitness Community focused on health and wellness resources for the Special Olympics Oregon community. Our goal is to provide a virtual platform where athletes, unified partners, volunteers, and family members can stay connected and active during a time when many may be feeling especially isolated. This group is for everyone! It is a safe space, rooted in inclusion, kindness, and positivity.
Be bold and get cold! Take a dip in icy water, along with thousands of other individuals and organizations around the state, in support of Special Olympics Oregon.
