Fall State Games presented by Providence
The 2026 Special Olympics Oregon Fall State Games presented by Providence on November 14-15, 2026, are now just 6 weeks away!
These Games will showcase soccer, swimming, and volleyball teams from across the state on their respective fields of play and will also provide some exciting special events and experiences. Soccer athletes and Unified partners will compete in individual skills, traditional 5v5, and Unified Sports® 5v5 soccer events. Volleyball athletes and Unified partners will compete in individual skills, traditional, and Unified Sports volleyball events. Swimmers will compete in developmental and traditional events, as well as relays (including Unified).
Some notable things about the 2026 SOOR Fall State Games schedule for this year include:
- The return of SWIMMING to Fall State Games for the second year in a row! This competition will be a Saturday-only event. We will again implement a quota for this competition. Each LP will be given a quota proportionate to the size of their delegation, in accordance with the advancement criteria from regional competitions.
- Separate Saturday morning opening ceremonies will be held for the following venues: SOCCER (ALL at Providence Park), SWIMMING (at Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District Aquatic Center), and VOLLEYBALL (at Lincoln HS and St. Mary’s Academy – teams will go to their assigned venue for ceremonies)
- Saturday Dinner AND Dance will be hosted at Lincoln HS for ALL SOCCER + SWIMMING + VOLLEYBALL delegates
- Healthy Athletes Screenings will be scheduled at Providence Park on Saturday

More detailed information, including a comprehensive Coach Handbook and venue maps, will be shared along with sport-specific competition schedules as the event nears.
Participating Local Programs: All Local Program VOLLEYBALL teams and ALL Local Program SOCCER teams. Local Programs will also be able to advance a quota-allotted number of SWIMMERS from regionals (swimming quota information to be shared in a separate memo).
