Danny Tran
Danny Tran has participated in Special Olympics for 8 years and lives and competes in Washington County. Danny states that Special Olympics has “helped me gain skills in sports and connect with other friends”. He says that one of the hardest things is that the pandemic impacted Special Olympics. Danny enjoys being a “strong swimmer” and says that he admires his family. “They support me and want me to do well.” To train for the USA Games in Orlando, Danny has been very excited to connect with his Team Oregon swim coach, Kathy Hinz who has really worked with him on his swimming, especially the back stroke.
This USA Games will be Danny’s first large scale competition and we are so excited to cheer him on!
