Carlos Reyes
Introducing Carlos Reyes from the Bend Senior High School Unified Basketball Team.
Carlos and his Unified Champion School has been very active and is where he has played soccer and softball in addition to basketball. Special Olympics has really helped him learn how to communicate with others and taught him respect for his fellow athletes and friends.
Carlos is proud that he has been able to make new friends, he even got a gold medal with them. As this is his first USA Games, he’s excited to team up and experience this with his friends.
Outside of Special Olympics, Carlos enjoys playing all kinds of games – board games and videos games. He also likes going to the gym, where he has been going frequently, in preparation for this competition. He credits his friends and family with keeping him motivated to keep trying his best.
