You can get involved with a Special Olympics program right in your community (referred to as a Local Program). In some areas, you may also be able to get involved through the school you attend. The list of schools that host Special Olympics Oregon programs is rapidly growing!
As a parent and family member of Special Olympics Oregon participants, you play an important role in supporting our athletes and sharing feedback on how to improve programs and services. Family members can be involved in helping Special Olympics Oregon programs in their communities in many different ways.
We are always looking for more coaches! There are opportunities to coach many different sports, from swimming to basketball to bowling. Help inspire and empower Special Olympics Oregon participants through the power of sports!
Volunteering with Special Olympics creates change that carries forth from our Programs and into the world. Whether you’re an individual or a member of a school, church, work, civic, or other group; whether you can volunteer for just a few hours on a single day as a scorekeeper, or several hours a week, year-round, as a special-events coordinator, there are volunteer opportunities for you.
