Admin/Office Support - Help behind the scenes! There’s a lot of preparation getting ready for games, raising funds, preparing for events. Come in and answer phones, prepare mailings, file, enter data. Or—design a website, write press releases, write a grant. We need volunteers who can help in the office during the week days! Set a schedule or come in as needed. You can join our admin support team!
Public Relations and Marketing - Help spread the word about Special Olympics Oregon! Assist with implementing public relations initiatives, assist with building media contacts statewide, write articles for the Enews or website, print materials, design brochures/flyers.
Photographer - Having professional photographs of our athletes and our events is very important. We are looking for people who have a talent in sports photography and would like to donate their time.
Officiating - Officiating opportunities are available for competitions in many sports, including basketball, softball, aquatics and soccer. If you are a certified official or experienced athlete in any of these sports, please contact us to learn how to become an official at an event.
Internship or Extended Volunteering - Special Olympics Oregon loves interns! Applications are accepted throughout the year for a variety of positions within our nonprofit organization. Internships are available in marketing and communications, event planning and corporate sponsorships, sports management or human resources and volunteer management.
Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) - Law Enforcement personnel are volunteers and supporters for Special Olympics Oregon.
